Saturday was a great day with Matty Masterson, Miles Kirby, Dean, Bob and Fred Deveruax, Rich all the way from Birmingham, me, Aron Le Blanc and Roger Clarke all joining in a marathon jumping session at Milton Keyens. We put ply boards between the little doubles and started with that then progressed to jumping and manualling techniques through the back straight, then the peice de resistance - the first doubles on the first straight. By the end of the session, everyone was riding a lot better, Bob was clearing the little doubles with ease (age 6), Fred was pumping through at double spead, Dean was jumping everything and five other riders joined in the fun. One of them said 'I just can't believe this, it's been such a great day, I'm jumping now and I never could do it before'. Just ten riders having a ball. Even Rich was stoked at almost almost clearing the forst doubles. If we took the wood away he probably would have done it. That's what BMX is all about. Loved it.

hay yeah i agree saturday was a wkd day i manuald the hole of the first straight with out putting my front wheel down and i almost done the hole of the 3rd straight :oand that is hard i think that the wood is the best way to get people jumping and it prooves i also think bob has a lot of bottle doing the little double at age 6 he has somethings that hardly any other 6 year olds have. i especially enjoyed saturday as i personally wansnt taking it to seriously as when you do its not fun maybe even use the wood tomorrow (tuesday night) as i liked saturday so much ill be coming to the track as im as poeple say training as i want to be good for the mk regional as i have to do another 2 regionals ;D cya there (tomorrow)

Hey, I'm new to this board but this thread has interested me. If you guys are doing another session with jumps and stuff I would be well up for it. I used to ride ages ago but gave up well over 10 years ago. At 26 Ive just got back into during the past 4 months (probably thanks to being glued to extreme sports channel heh). I'm really keen to practice some tricks, as cant pull off anything interesting yet other than a really (REALLY) feeble bunny hop. Maybe my bikes too heavy or maybe its cause I'm working on flatland and not on jumps Nice one Simon

we will be there for sure as long as its not torrential! from about 12 to ? we will have the wood down there again to pack out the doubles. Everyone is welcome, Simon just show up we have some really good riders who come down so they will be more than happy to help out just dont take it seriously! 'MK Crew the fun club'
